Crisis management

Crisis management

As every crisis in the past has taught us, the current pandemic, especially in the hospitality industry, is causing enormous losses in the result. Our sector is also the first to immediately notice when the crisis is nearing the end, which therefore offers opportunities. Use this situation as a period to critically assess the current exploitation. We support hoteliers and restaurateurs with a solid action plan to survive the crisis in the short term and to get out of it better and stronger. We take a fresh look at your current operations and discuss options for improving sales under these circumstances and keeping costs under control.

This is precisely the period that the existing business processes can be reconsidered. Just now ask yourself the critical questions, such as ‘Are the functions set up in my operation the right one?’, ‘Can I perhaps make my people work more multifunctionally?’, ‘Am I still working with the right systems?’ etc. These are all things that can be considered right now and that need to cost relatively little money to implement.

After all, employees can now perform tasks for which they did not have time during the normal day-to-day business. We are happy to take a critical look with you at your daily business operations in the commercial, financial and operational field and help you with a creative outlook in combination with sharing our many years of knowledge and experience in positioning and repositioning various large and smaller (inter) national hotels.

We are well aware that the resources are not available within the operations to hire external advisers. In a personal conversation we would like to explain our ‘crisis model’, where our remuneration, in addition to a modest basic remuneration, will be included as part of the future operating result. The model therefore tends more towards a so-called ‘no cure, no pay’ fee. If the proposed actions do not convert into the desired result, this will have an impact on the compensation.
